Preheat oven to 275

Ingredients
3 eggs beaten
1 and 1/3 cup sugar
2 TB all-purpose flour
8 TB butter (1 stick) melted
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans (little package of already chopped pecans works pretty well)
Pie shell (unbacked)

Directions
Beat eggs. Add sugar and flour and beat well. Add melted butter, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir. Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pie crust. Pour on egg mixture. Bake for about an hour or golden brown. If it jiggles in the middle, it ain’t done.

This pie tastes like a custard pie, but the added pecans make it to die for. It's also a very easy recipe, and prep for it takes little to no time. It takes a while to bake, but doesn't take much effort.

I might have to give this one a try. I'm all for easy. My favorite are fruit pies but sometimes it's nice to try something different.

I was craving this pie earlier so I called my mom to get the recipe. It's so fantastic that I felt that I had to share it with everyone here. I hope you enjoy it!
