Mostly about Fantasy genre: Special emphasis on Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Deed of Paksennarion. Music, poetry and random ramblings. Actually, anything is up for grabs. Probably not politics, but everything else is fair game. Please ignore al
Lately, I've been playing a lot of video games because of John (shower guy). I had played FATE for about a year, but never much more than that until I moved to my new place and met John. He got me playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and Fable along with some games on the Wii. Sometimes I go over to his place and play these games on his super fast computer. Today was one of those days.

I was playing Fable and had gotten myself in the middle of a very dangerous mission and was very into the game. John had gone to take a shower (his own now, since he fixed it) and left me to play. He finished his shower, and heard me fighting hard and ran into the room. We talked for a minute until I finished the battle, then he said, "I guess I should put some pants on."

I hadn't even realized that he was standing there in nothing but his boxers! He was right in front of me, but I was so focused on the game that I hadn't even realized he was half naked. I laughed in surprise and told him that I had not noticed. He laughed and went back to the bathroom to get dressed.

When he got back, he decided to dub me an "Official Gamer Girl". My new title, he warned me, came with some risks. "Some guys, gamer guys, will want to get with you just because of that. But, you deserve it because I walked in in nothing but my boxers and you didn't even notice!" (Special emphasis on the "I" to stress the hotness of himself.)

So, I am officially a gamer girl. I don't know if I'm happy about this, or if I should be worried. I mean, I was already a nerd before, but now? Add gamer girl to the list and I may be beyond hope.

Oh well, I'm going back to play Vampires now.

Drat it all. I was just about to dub you a gamer girl over on the other thread, but held off just in case you were just playing Tetris. My wife plays Tetris, she is not a gamer girl.

So, there you have it. You're a nerd gamer girl. Heck, you're a SINGLE nerd gamer girl. You are the most sought after creature by many gamer guy nerds. Now, if you're a HOT, single nerd gamer girl...

God help you. You will need His help. Luckily, you're dealing with people who DO believe in the force, and therefore you can use the Jedi mind trick on them. "I am not the girl you are looking for." "You are not the girl I'm looking for..."

! I don't know how hot I am, but the rest is true. You know, I've never been able to use the Jedi mind trick on anyone... this should be fun!

haha no worries girl, I'm a gamer girl too, and It's way more fun. Don't worry about what other people think, you just do what you like.

I was a goof and loaded the wrong save today, so I had to start over again with my training at the guild. I just got the traders through to wherever they were going. I had to do that mission over again though, because I decided to open a demon door, and had to fight the guardians and, though I beat the guardians, they killed one of the traders I was supposed to be protecting.

It's really funny too, because I have two other friends playing it (on the same computer) and one of them is evil and the other is practically a saint. It's fun to watch.

Oh, and I almost bought the name Arseface. I was really close to clicking on the wrong one. Instead, I picked Ranger -- simply because I'm obsessed with Lord of the Rings.

And I'm not worried about it. I took it as a big compliment when John called me a gamer girl and I'm already proud to be a nerd.

I was Liberator. Saintly. I just can't get into being evil. I tried on Knights of the Old Republic, but it was boring killing everyone. It's more fun for me to try to find a way to be mean and get what I want without being mean or hurting anyone. They should WANT to give it to me, of their own volition, you know? Much harder.

Stupid traders, always getting into the battle instead of running away.

I think I'm going to be good... but I haven't decided yet. After all, it gets annoying when people start cheering everywhere you go. (Though, when you walk into a bar, and every chick in there immediately falls in love, that's pretty funny)

I don't like sitting for long periods of time...my feet start dancing, my butt goes numb (no matter how comfortable the chair) and I get distracted....but I don't think its "too" nerdy. Heh. Actually I think its pretty awesome to find new things to do.

I like the cheering. YAY! Liberator! You're so great!

I always wanted to call that game "Hero"
on Jun 24, 2007
Yeah, they call me "Hero" so often that I can see why.

Well, they don't call me that yet. I'm still getting laughed at... they call me goofy looking, even after I save their lives. Stupid village people. Makes me want to chop their heads off, but then I'm pretty sure that would make me evil.

Pull a GTA - save, go through and kill everyone - reload.

You'll feel much better, and you'll still have a good persona! I wish I could save Life. I would reload at high school. I could've done better for myself. But, then I wouldn't really be me, huh?

Yep, you are a gamer girl!
