That's right. Today is the day that I finally graduate from college. After changing majors three times and staying here five years, I am done. I will graduate with a BA in English and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies.



During my time at college, I have traveled to Italy, Canada, Orlando, L.A. and Dayton, Ohio. I've met Gaelic Storm, Neil Gaiman, and that Napoleon Dynamite guy. I've taught a class, I've worked for my school, and I've spent countless hours writing papers.

You'd think, after five years, I would want to walk across that stage and get my diploma holder. But I don't. I'm not going to graduation. Instead, I am goofing around, cleaning and packing a bit, and then celebrating with friends. I'm not dressing up, not wearing the goofy cap and gown and not listening to the President's speech for the 28th time. (Seriously, he never changes his speech, and I've been to graduations 27 times)

However, despite my lack of participation at graduation, I am still finally, and forever done at this school. I am officially a grad student now. And that calls for a big
