A while back, I wrote an article about finding love online: Link

since that time, I have been talking with a very nice young man. So far, he has proven to be funny, smart, witty, handsome, and an absolute dork. He is everything I asked Cupid for. We've spoken for hours upon hours. Long emails and even longer phone conversations have led to a desire to meet.

But man am I nervous. I know he's waiting for me to say, "Ok, it's time to meet." because he's told me that he wants to meet me, as soon as I'm sure he's not a psycho. Well, I'm pretty sure he's not a psycho, and I want to meet him.

But how do I ask? I have friends willing to "chaperone" discreetly. I have a place picked out -- a Chinese restaraunt (we both love Chinese). But how do I ask him to meet me?

Argh!!!!

There is an added problem. We live about an hour away from each other. Is it fair for me to ask him to come to my town? or should I offer to meet in a town that is somewhat between us? I would be fine with that, but I don't know said town well at all. Plus, I don't know if my chaperones are willing to travel.

Well, wish me luck JU! I'm asking a guy out tonight for the first time!

Make him come to you. Especially if you know some policemen in your town, just in case, they'll be on your side.
